ASDA-A2-E

Supports EtherCAT High-Speed Communication

Delta's ASDA-A2-E Series supports EtherCAT communication, and complies with IEC61158 and IEC61800-7 to enable fast, real-time and precise performance in high-end applications. It also supports a CoE device profile based on CiA402, and all command types of EtherCAT.

In addition to the EtherCAT communication function, the ASDA-A2-E Series features:

  • Wide power range: 400V 400W~7.5kW, 220V 100W~3kW
  • Integrated Safe Torque Off (STO), compliant with IEC61508, SIL2; IEC62061, SILCL2; ISO13849-1, Cat. 3 PL=d
  • Short cycle time, ideal for high-speed synchronous multi-axis control
  • Touch Probe function can be enabled with two dedicated Digital Inputs (DI) on CN7 or an external encoder
  • Supports absolute and incremental ECMA Series motors

ASDA-B2

Implements 17-bit (160,000 p/rev) high resolution encoder as a standard

Power Range: 0.1kW~3kW

  • Input voltage: 200VAC ~230VAC, 1-phase/3-phase, or 3-phase

Fulfills high precision positioning control requirements of general applications:

  • Built-in Position, Speed and Torque modes (Speed and Torque modes can be controlled via internal parameters or external voltage)
  • Command sources: pulse input (up to 4 Mpps) and analog voltage
  • Three notch filters optimize the operation of the mechanical system automatically
  • Friction compensation and motor protection functions are available to reinforce the system
  • Separated power supply for main circuit and control circuit, easy to maintain
  • Built-in regenerative resistor featured as standard (400 W and above models), saving wiring and costs
